A shocking incident unfolded in Warri when Nigerian superstar Davido was slapped by an overzealous fan during a visit.
The viral video captures the moment the fan, seemingly overwhelmed with excitement, reaches out and slaps Davido on the head as he’s being escorted by security.

This however, isn’t the first time Davido has had a close encounter with an enthusiastic fan. In 2023, a fan stormed the stage to meet him, prompting Davido to prepare for a confrontation before security intervened. Similarly, during his Timeless Concert, a die-hard fan held tightly to his leg, almost dragging him to the floor, until security stepped in.

The slap has sparked a mix of reactions online, with some questioning the fan’s behavior and others sympathizing with Davido’s position.
