Eelive.ng reported that the disagreement followed Peter’s recent social media comment about the relevance of Nigerian languages, which attracted criticism from many users.

As the backlash grew, Rudeboy distanced himself from the remarks in a series of posts, stressing that he remained proud of his culture, native roots and language.

Reacting to his brother’s comments, Peter alleged that Rudeboy had once again used the situation as an opportunity to discredit him.

Peter said: “But again, bro, you’re at it again, using this moment as another opportunity to pull me down. Just like I wrote in my open letter two years ago, doing everything possible to make people hate me will never work.”

Peter admitted that he understood why many people disagreed with his original statement but insisted that his brother’s reaction crossed the line.

He continued: “Yes, people are dragging me over my statement, and that is okay. I accept that. But deliberately twisting my words and using petty tactics to damage my reputation says a lot.”

The singer further expressed disappointment, accusing Rudeboy of repeatedly joining public criticism against him rather than standing by him.

He added: “I don’t know why you look for every opportunity to make derisive comments or jump on the bandwagon whenever I am being attacked.”

Taken back to April 20, 2026, eelive.ng had reported that Peter , a.k.a Mr P had officially announced on his official X handle a change to his birthday celebration date.
