
Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre has blessed Hilda Baci’s attempt to cook the world’s largest pot of Nigerian Jollof rice at the Gino Jollof Festival in Lagos.
The festival, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, features a massive pot measuring six meters wide and six meters tall and 250 bags of rice to feed tens of thousands of attendees. Over 20,000 people registered for the free festival, which aims to celebrate Nigerian cuisine.

Hilda Baci has previously set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon in May 2023. Building on her culinary success, Hilda is now attempting another record for cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice. She has assured participants that the meal would be both “amazing and hygienic,” promising a record-breaking culinary experience.
The Gino Jollof Festival is a celebration of Nigerian food, culture, and community. With Hilda Baci at the helm of this massive cooking endeavor, the event is expected to draw significant attention to Nigerian cuisine, specifically jollof rice, a staple and symbol of West African culinary heritage.
