Nigerian Fuji musician Pasuma has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late mother by dedicating his new home to her memory.
On what would have been her birthday, Pasuma shared a clip of his new house, expressing his gratitude and love for his mother. “To my dearest mother, your love remains a constant light in my life. Wishing you the happiest birthday in heaven, IYAMI CELEBRATING YOUR BIRTHDAY WITH A NEW HOME,” he wrote.

Fellow celebrities, including Sotayo Gaga, Bimbo Oshin, Mercy Aigbe, and Jamiu Azeez, among others praised Pasuma for his touching tribute, wishing his mother eternal rest and congratulated his gesture of using a house to celebrate his late mum.
Pasuma lost his mother in April 2023, a loss he announced on his Instagram page, referring to her as his “jewel.” The musician’s mother was laid to rest at their family residence, with many Nollywood stars paying their respects.
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Wizkid also suffered a devastating loss on August 18 same year when his mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away in London. The news was confirmed by his manager, Sunday Aare, who revealed that she died in the early hours of the day.
Wizkid described the pain of losing his mother as the deepest pain he had ever felt, stating, “I’m lost but I pray God will comfort every one of us. I’m lost without you mom, I love you so much”.
Wizkid paying tribute to his mother on her posthumous birthday, expressed his longing for her and describing her as the love of his life. He also named his album after her, titled “Morayo.”
