Popular Nigerian social critic Martins Otse, Verydarkman has strongly condemned popular TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, following his reported suicide attempt on December 14, 2025.
As reported by eelive.ng, Peller intentionally crashed his new Mercedes-Benz worth a hundred million Naira during a livestream after an emotional breakdown, reportedly triggered by a breakup or argument with his girlfriend, Jarvis. He was hospitalised but survived with no life-threatening injuries.

In a widely circulated video posted on December 15, Verydarkman described Peller as a very irresponsible boy, selfish, toxic, and very very irresponsible. He criticized the young influencer’s actions as immature and dangerous, emphasizing that attempting suicide over a relationship sets a poor example for Peller’s massive young audience.

Verydarkman argued that such behavior is not only reckless but could influence vulnerable fans negatively, calling it toxic and selfish given Peller’s public status.
He further stressed that no one regardless of relationship issues, should resort to self-harm, labeling it an irresponsible way to handle emotions.
