The family of veteran Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie has petitioned Department of State Services (DSS) against TikToker who alleged the death of the actor in a false report.
Leo Edochie, the actor’s eldest son, via a Facebook post on Thursday night, stating that anyone who has any information about the TikToker will be rewarded handsomely.
Sharing a photo of the TikToker, he wrote, “This young man posted a video on TikTok saying that our father Chief Pete Edochie is dead. His TikTok handle is @ONE_BOR 001. Anyone with information that will lead to his arrest will be handsomely rewarded in cash I have contacted DSS and they are on his trail. DM me with the information,as soon as he is arrested,you will get your reward in cash.”

A death rumour about the actor spread widely on social media, worrying fans until the actor’s family dismissed it.
Pete has dealt with false reports about his death many times over the years. He previously responded to these claims, saying he is alive and will pass away only when his time comes.
Leo also addressed the latest rumour in a separate video, calling it false and malicious. He explained that the family received many calls and messages after the post went viral, and emphasized that his father is alive and in good health.
