The presidential candidate of the Labour Party(LP) in the 2023 general elections Peter Obi has commended Hilda Baci, the Nigerian Jollof Queen for accomplishing another incredible feat by cooking the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Baci’ impressive achievement earned her a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice.
The Guinness World Records via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter announced the new feat on Monday disclosing that the Nigerian chef in collaboration with food brand Gino, prepared 8,780 kilograms (19,356 pounds 9 ounces) of jollof rice during the event held at Victoria Island, Lagos.
The statement read: “New record: Largest serving of Nigerian style jollof rice, 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria .”

Reacting, the former Anambra governor congratulated the Nigerian chef, adding that Baci’ new feat is a powerful symbol of what the Nigerian people can achieve when there is passion, hard work and opportunity.
He maintained that the Nigerian youths remain very talented with skills that can break world record.
In his words: “Let me again congratulate Hilda Baci on her extraordinary Guinness World Record for preparing the Largest Serving of Nigerian-style Jollof Rice, reaching 8,780 kilograms.
