Foluke Daramola, the Nigerian actress cum filmmaker, has officially obtained her nomination and expressed her interest in representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives as a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC)
She shared the news on Facebook, posting photos of herself holding the party forms.
Earlier, the actress announced she would run for the federal legislative seat, showing a stronger interest in politics after many years in entertainment.
In a message to her supporters and constituents, she reiterated her commitment to public service and to helping the community.
“As your servant and potential aspirant for the House of Representatives, Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1, I, Hon. Foluke Daramola-Salako, lift you up in prayers: May Almighty God open doors of opportunities for us all and keep us safe.
“Together, we will build a stronger, better Oshodi,” she wrote.

Foluke started acting in the late 1990s and has appeared in many Yoruba and English films. She is also known for speaking out against sexual violence and abuse through her foundation.
