A viral video from an open‑air crusade of popular gospel singer Bunmi Akinnaanu has revealed that the gospel singer is battling with a swollen leg that is causing intense pain.
During the service, a pastor placed his hands on Akinnaanu’s leg and prayed for her healing, assuring her that her “testimony will come soon.” The footage captures her seated on a chair, unable to speak, repeatedly wiping tears and holding the affected leg.

Fans have however, flood the comment section with prayers of healing for the singer and many wishing her quick recovery.
Popularly billed as “Omije Ojumi,” Akinnaanu burst onto the scene with the hit single “Omije Ojumi.” Released in 2022, the song quickly became a church‑service staple and earned her a spot among Nigeria’s leading contemporary gospel voices.
She has spoken openly about her modest upbringing, recalling that she borrowed clothes and jewelry to finance the music video. Beyond the breakout track, Bunmi has released several worship‑oriented singles that emphasise personal testimony and communal praise.
