Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested 20-year-old fast rising artist, Godspower George Osahenrumwen, popularly known as Steady Boy, for allegedly attempting to receive a large consignment of “Loud,” a potent cannabis strain, reportedly smuggled into Nigeria from the United States.
The NDLEA disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi.

According to the statement, the arrest took place on Thursday, October 30, at Bougain Villa, Primewater Gardens 2, Freedom Way, Lekki, Lagos, after the suspect reportedly appeared to collect 140 bags of Loud weighing 77.20kg. The drugs were said to have been concealed inside three cartons of bathtubs shipped from New York.
The consignment, which also included clothes and electronic gadgets, reportedly arrived aboard a DHL flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, on Tuesday, October 28.
The agency further alleged that Steady Boy was acting on behalf of a drug syndicate believed to be coordinated by his manager, Zion Osazee Omigie, also known as Zee Money, who is currently on the run.
