Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has weighed in on Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson’s drastic weight loss.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Johnson, who was known for her curvaceous figure, created a buzz when she unveiled her slimmer physique. In response to the attention her significant weight loss garnered, the actress assured her fans that her transformation is the result of a non-surgical weight loss program that she promotes.

Despite her address, some of her colleagues have continued to join public criticism, taunting her about her new body.
In a video captured online, ‘Zazu crooner’ crooner alleged that the actress’ husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie pressured her to lose weight to avoid advances from men.
He stated that he once thought Mercy did BBL, but he realised her body is natural.
“Mercy Johnson’s husband probably told her to go and lose weight to stop receiving attention from men, hence why she reduced a lot. I thought she did BBL, never knew her body was natural,” he said.

It is important to note that, Mercy Johnson is not alone in her weight loss journey. Other Nigerian celebrities, such as Eniola Badmus, BBNaija former housemate Tacha amongst others, have also undergone significant transformations, inspiring their fans and followers.
