A recent post by X user @FindingSolace has stirred up heated debate online after she shared a shocking exchange with a feminist regarding childbirth.

According to her, during a conversation about the risks associated with pregnancy and delivery, the feminist argued that women should no longer be giving birth due to the life threatening nature of the process.

I was arguing with a feminist about childbirth. She said pregnancy and delivery are risky, and women should not be giving birth. No wahala.

My greatest shock came when she proposed that women should start using surrogates.

Wait! Are surrogates men or test tubes?🙄

We obviously need to start another activism. Feminism demands equal rights with men. We need another campaign to demand equal rights with fellow women. Most of these feminists are mean to their fellow women.

You don’t want to die giving birth, but you want to subject another woman to that fate”. @FindingSolace wrote.

Her post raised a crucial contradiction in the argument; while the feminist opposed pregnancy for women, she still supported the idea of other women carrying babies for them thereby putting them at the same “risk” she’s trying to avoid.

The post has since gone viral today, sparking fierce arguments across X, with many users questioning the ethics of selective empowerment and the logic behind this particular feminist stance.
