The video comes days after the comedian announced her pregnancy in a heartwarming Father’s Day post. The video, which featured her husband and their children, was accompanied by a heartfelt tribute to her spouse.
“One of the best decisions I’ve made in life was saying ‘yes’ to my husband,” she wrote.
“Because in choosing him, I didn’t just get the most loving partner, I gave my children the best father. Loving, caring, steady, strong, super supportive, and fiercely committed to family and most of all God. You’re the kind of man who makes parenting look like purpose.
“As we prepare to welcome another heartbeat into our family, I’m reminded again that this life, our life, is a gift. Happy Father’s Day, my love. We’re so blessed to have you,” she added.
Despite the announcement of her pregnancy, netizens expressed doubt, leading to further online debate. The situation intensified when reality star Ka3na called out popular and influencial women faking pregnancies instead of being honest about using surrogates. Although Ka3na did not mention any names, it was speculated that she was referring to Real Warri Pikin.
“Dear Nigerian Public Figures (especially women), we are privileged to be more informed, more exposed, and better travelled. With that comes the responsibility to be honest with our followers,” Ka3na wrote.
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a baby through a surrogate… So why deceive your fans by pretending to be pregnant?”
