Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has spoken out after a video showing her daughter at the residence of her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, sparked fresh reconciliation rumours.
The mother of two was captured during a TikTok live hosted by Nwoko’s son, sitting at the family residence with her children. When she realised she was being filmed, she reportedly asked him to end the live broadcast.
The footage quickly spread online, with many viewers questioning why Regina was back at Nwoko’s residence months after their highly publicised marital crisis.

The actress’ appearance also drew reactions from people who had supported her during the dispute with Nwoko, with some interpreting the visit as a sign that the couple had settled their differences.
Rita has now explained the reason for Regina’s presence at the residence.
In a private Instagram conversation with actor Uche Maduagwu, which he later shared on his page, Rita wrote: “It is well, my dear. She was invited to see her Children. That was what happened. Thanks a lot for your support and concerns.”
Her explanation followed the widespread reaction to the video, which had led to speculation that Regina was returning to Nwoko.
Regina’s sister, Destiny Daniels, also addressed the situation, saying the actress had permission to visit her children and dismissing speculation that she was pregnant.
Rita’s message confirms that Regina was at the residence to see her children but provides no further details about her relationship with Nwoko.
