The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas, has issued a statement addressing the marital crisis between actress Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko.
Emeka Rollas expressed concern for Daniels’ well-being, stating that “you need help” and that the Guild has helped many members in the past. In his words as shared on his Instagram page: “My concern here is not to shame you, NO, My concern is that you need help. Many of our members have gotten help before you which the Guild was instrumental to.”

Rollas revealed that on the day of Daniels’ son’s birthday, Nwoko made a statement regarding Regina’s smoking habit, saying “if you stop smoking you’ll have your own daughter.”
Rollas emphasised that this incident was witnessed by several people, including AGN members, “On the day of your son’s birthday, Regina by the staircase of a popular kids playground in wuse 2 and in the presence of your friends and also a few AGN members Agility, Nazareth Jesse, and some of my SSA, your husband made a statement to you regarding your smoking habit.”
Rollas urged Regina’s mother, Rita Daniel, to prioritise her daughter’s well-being over AGN elections, saying “If your daughter’s home and health is in distress, AGN elections should not be your priority.” He also emphasized that the Guild must be a safe place for its members, particularly younger ones, and that leaders should not justify harmful habits as “a celebrity lifestyle.”
Rollas criticised Nwoko for publicly airing their marital issues, saying “Our Chairman Board of Patrons, Prince Ned Nwoko. Sir, you are not without blame.It is not good for a man of your status to go on social media and publicly call out your wife in something I still believe can be handled internally.“ He added that “there are better ways to do it.”
Rollas also called out senior colleagues who have remained silent despite knowing the truth about the situation, naming specific individuals who were present on set during the last production. “I am calling on those who were present at the last series shoot and fully aware of what is happening Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji you were all on set during the last production in question. You saw things firsthand, especially regarding Regina and we all know she needs help.”
He stated that their silence is unfair and leaves him exposed to attacks for matters he did not create.
