A bus stop in the United Kingdom has been named after the Nigerian-born social media sensation, Bus Aunty.

It would be recalled that Bemi Orojuogun, popularly known as “London Bus Aunty,” became a sensation in 2025 when she shared videos of herself at various bus stops in London.

She has now come out to claim that a London bus stop has been named in her honour.

The viral personality shared the news in a video thanking Transport for London (TfL) and its staff for the recognition.

Orojuogun, who has lived in the UK for more than three decades, became popular online through videos of herself posing beside London’s iconic red double-decker buses.

Bemi Orojuogun, a 56-year-old mental health nurse, began gaining traction on TikTok in 2024. She has since gathered over a quarter of a million followers on the social media page, promoting the driving skillset of drivers of double-decker buses in the UK, and promoting the values and daily lives of the residents of London, the capital city of England.
