Nollywood actress and model Annie Macaulay, formerly known as Annie Idibia, has shared with the public her next move after divorce.
Following reports of her finalized divorce from husband Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, who has since taken a new wife, Annie Macaulay has been focusing on her personal growth and professional pursuits.
At the 17th edition of The Headies Awards in Lagos, Annie Macaulay spoke to BBC Pidgin about her exciting new venture – an online TV station, Annie Macaulay TV. The mother of two revealed that she has already produced a couple of TV series featuring her daughters, with an impressive 11 episodes ready to air soon. Annie Macaulay expressed her pride in her children’s academic achievements, stating that they are her backbone and are excelling in their studies.
“Right now, I am working on my own online TV Station, which is Annie Macaulay TV, so make una ready for different things. My daughters have done 11 episodes, which would soon air on my TV,” she stated.
In a subtle yet significant move, Annie Macaulay used her presentation at The Headies Awards to reintroduce herself to the public, taking a swipe at her ex-husband in the process. She announced that she is no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and declared that she is single, setting the record straight about her current status.
