Rihanna to make music return with ‘Lift Me Up’

Barbadian singer, Robyn Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, will release her first song after six years hiatus.

The song titled ‘Lift Me Up’ will be released on Friday, October 28.

Rihanna made the announcement on Wednesday through her Twitter page.

Furthermore, the single will feature on the soundtrack for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

This comes after she became the youngest person on Forbes’ 2022 list of self-made female billionaires in the United States.

According to Forbes’ 2022 list, the 34-year-old is worth $1.4 billion.

Rihanna, who is a co-owner of Fenty Beauty and holder of 30 percent stake in her Savage x Fenty lingerie line—is also her Barbados’ first billionaire, as well as the only woman under 40 on this year’s list of female billionaires in the U.S.

Before this, Rihanna teased that she has new music in the works.

She told Vogue in a recent interview “I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better. It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off.”

In May, Rihanna welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky.
