Rosy Meurer, the Nollywood actress and her husband, Olakunle Churchill have shut down rumours of a rift in their union, amid renewed speculation about their marriage.
Just hours ago, Churchill himself debunked claims of a rift with Rosy, revealing that his wife and kids are enjoying summer life in Disney Paris.
He wrote, “I hear say I dey trend, who cook am? My family dey Disney Paris dey enjoy summer life. Una go wait until menopause come. Meh, I see you. My people, my wife, no get staff or friends, una don make we trend today. Thanks.”
Rosy in her post, emphasized that she’s not one to address every rumor, but she had to speak up for herself and her children. She categorically stated that her husband isn’t a woman beater and that the allegations are false.

In her words, “If you don’t tell your story, they will tell it for you in ways that suit them for the world to believe… NO ONE is allowed to tell my story. It’s my story, not yours.” Rosy expressed frustration over people wishing violence upon her marriage while possibly tolerating abuse in their own families.
She praised her husband, saying he’s not the type to utter hurtful words, let alone beat a woman. Rosy concluded by affirming, “MY HUSBAND IS NOT A WOMAN BEATER!!” and expressing her determination to protect her family’s reputation from baseless lies.
