Nigerian singer and Senior Special Assistant to Abia State Governor Alex Otti on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, popularly known as J. Martins, narrowly escaped death in a ghastly accident after his car veered off the highway and plunged into a nearby bush.
According to reports, the incident reportedly occurred on Monday along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt Expressway, following a sudden brake failure. The malfunction caused the vehicle to lose control and skid off the road at high speed before coming to a halt in the bush.
Expressing gratitude to God, the singer while speaking with ABN TV, J. Martins described the experience as nothing short of a miracle. According to him, everyone in the vehicle came out unharmed, with no deaths or injuries recorded.

“It’s only God that will be praised. My car’s brake failed along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt expressway and it lost control. No one died. I’m currently at the hospital undergoing some scans as a precaution,” he said.
The veteran artist, who has maintained a low media profile in recent years, is best known for chart-topping hits such as “Oyoyo,” “Jupa,” “Good or Bad,” and the classic “Cool Temper.” He also featured alongside P-Square on the popular track “E No Easy.”
