Popular Fuji icon, Saheed Osupa has reacted after Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy, openly described him as his greatest musician of all time.
Burna Boy made the revelation during a recent conversation with tennis legend, Roger Federer.
In the chat, the ‘African Giant’ crooner was asked about the artistes who inspire him the most. Burna Boy responded by saying his “GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artistes like Saheed Osupa.”
Reacting to the tribute, Saheed Osupa took to his official X handle on Thursday to express his excitement. The Fuji star described the recognition as a monumental moment not just for him, but for the entire Fuji music industry.
According to him, Burna Boy’s words were a reminder of the global reach and timeless value of Fuji. He noted that the recognition “not only uplifts my journey but also shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.”

Osupa further appreciated Burna Boy for the honour and said he looks forward to attending one of his concerts in the near future.
Burna Boy did not stop at praising Fuji stars alone. In the interview, he also listed his favourite rappers of all time, naming late American rap legends 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G, Big Pun, as well as British rapper J Hus.
