The social space is buzzing after a comment by a popular footballer Bukayo Saka, left many stunned and wondering if truly the statement was true.
In a clip that has since gone viral on the internet, the Arsenal’ ring winger, during the debut episode of Arsenal’s “The Link-Up” series with Nigerian singer Tems, filmed at legendary Abbey Road Studios, Saka asked Tems who her early musical influences were. She replied: “I loved Céline Dion,” the 24-year-old winger responded sharply: “I don’t know who that is.”

Tems who was shocked with Saka’s comment exclaimed: “You don’t know who Céline Dion is? Oh my gosh!” While some fans are losing it and roasting the England international mercilessly, some are defending him stating that not all stars know themselves. Many joked the generational gap is real for Gen Z stars like Saka (born 2001), who grew up in the streaming era.
