Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has warmly received popular American streamer, YouTuber, and internet personality Kai Cenat during a courtesy visit at the Lagos House, Marina.
This marks Cenat’s second trip to Lagos and Nigeria, following his initial visit in March 2024, which generated massive buzz with cultural immersions, collaborations, and his viral reactions to Nigerian life.

The meeting as shared on X by the Governor’s special assistant on New Media Jubril Gawat, Cenat’s ongoing commitment to philanthropy in Lagos. Recall that during his first visit, Cenat pledged significant funds to support education for underprivileged children, particularly in the Makoko waterfront community. The streamer has been advancing a school project aimed at providing free education to local kids.
In their discussion, Cenat shared positive experiences from his time in Lagos, including the vibrant atmosphere, food, and people that he says bring him peace. The governor and Cenat reportedly focused on ensuring the smooth execution and operation of youth-focused initiatives, including the Makoko school. Sanwo-Olu’s team emphasized support for such projects that empower young people and boost Lagos’ global image.
