Scarlett Johansson Tops Forbes’ List of Highest-Paid Actresses

For the second consecutive year, American actress, Scarlett Johansson has topped the Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors in the world for the fiscal year 2018/2019. Spurred by the success of her summer Marvel film Avenger: Endgame, the 34-year-old actor’s earning reached a total of $56 million.

The 35-year-old Hollywood star’s role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Widow was a huge part of her earnings, according to Forbes.

American-Colombian actress, Sofia Vergara came in second place with estimated earnings of $44.1 million, while Reese Witherspoon came in third with reported earnings of $35 million.

The data for the list summarized the on-screen and off-screen earnings between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019.
