A video showing the moment a worshipper attacked Dunsin Oyekan, a popular Nigerian gospel singer, has surfaced on social media.
In the now-viral footage, the 41-year-old songwriter is seen leading worship when an unidentified worshipper approached the stage and attempted to take the microphone from his hands.
The incident, which happened during a worship session at a programme, saw the man clinging tightly to the minister while he was leading the congregation.
Despite efforts by ushers and protocol personnel to pull him away, the man remained firmly attached for several seconds, causing a visible disruption.
Despite the incident, the singer continued the service, unperturbed as the man is taken away.
