Grammy-winning Nigerian music sensation Tems has expressed excitement ahead of her performance at the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show.

The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on July 13 at the MetLife Stadium in the United States, as part of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Tems will headline the show alongside Colombian hitmaker J Balvin and American pop star Doja Cat. The performance will be broadcast live, bringing the world together for a celebration of football and music. According to Global Citizen, producers of the show, the event aims to promote unity and support a noble cause.

The halftime show is part of a broader effort to raise awareness and support for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund (FGCEF). The fund, a joint initiative led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen co-founder Hugh Evans, aims to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children across the globe.

Tems expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment — to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and help improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.” She added, “I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13, featuring top football clubs from around the world.
