How Angela Okorie Sets Boundaries in Relationships

Angela Okorie was previously married to Chukwuma Orizu. They walked down the aisle in 2006, after a decade together, and they split in 2016. They had a son together named Chamberlain, who recently turned 14.
In a previous interview, Okorie explained that her marriage fell apart due to pressure from her husband’s family demanding that she step aside from her acting career. She said she “fell out of love” under these circumstances.
Most recently, the movie actress was involved with a man who is known as Oil Money, whose real name is Alafaa Kariboye-Igbo, a show promoter and businessman.

Their ephemeral relationship ended on heinous terms in April 2025, when Okorie took to her social media page to accuse him of being a “clout chaser” and “narcissist,” and claiming that he is only using her for fame.
The actress went on to share a series of screenshots exposing Oil Money in a chat. He offered her the sum of N1.5 million, begging them to get back together. She firmly rejected attempts at reconciliation; the actress instead opted to maintain boundaries.
