Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo Dasilva, has opened up about the tragic loss of a close friend who died after travelling to Thailand for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.
In a recent statement, the reality television star recounted how his university friend journeyed to Thailand in 2024 to undergo the cosmetic surgery but never returned to England.
According to Dasilva, the incident left a lasting impact on his views about body enhancement procedures.
Dasilva went on to reveal that he watched the devastating developments unfold in the news, including footage of his friend’s body being moved to the morgue and reports of the doctor’s arrest.
He disclosed that she was only 24 years old at the time of her death.
“A very close friend of mine in Uni travelled to Thailand in 2024 to have BBL and she never returned to England. I remember watching them move her body to the morgue on the news and arresting the doctor. I have been against the surgery ever since. She was just 24,” he said.

Dasilva explained that the experience completely changed his perspective on cosmetic surgery, particularly procedures carried out abroad, and he has never supported it.
