Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has taken to social media to mourn the death of diminutive actress, Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Aunty Ajara.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, the actress had passed away after a prolonged battle with illness. Her colleagues, Wunmi Toriola, Foluke Daramola, Mama Nonetwork and many others had been soliciting donations from the public towards her treatment.
She was buried immediately in line with Islamic rites, with viral clips showing her wrapped in white fabric and laid to rest shortly after her demise.

Her family and friends are expected to hold an eight-day fidau prayer for her on Thursday, according to a memorial poster circulated online. The late actress was reportedly 27 years old at the time of her death.
Reacting to the tragic news, Kunle Afod described her passing as shocking and unreal. He pledged that she would remain in their hearts forever.
“It still feels unreal. Our beloved Ajara is gone, but she will live on in our hearts forever,” he wrote.
He also announced details of the fidau prayer and called on colleagues, fans, and well-wishers to remember the late actress in their prayers.
