Queen Mercy Atang, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, has confirmed that her one-year union with David Oyekanmi has crashed.
This recent development is coming one year into their union. In August 2025, rumours of their separation first surfaced after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Further investigation was carried into the developing issue and it was gathered that David, the estranged husband of Queen Mercy hasn’t been wearing his wearing ring.
The Nigerian reality has finally confirmed the sad news, Ina since-deleted post while responding to a fan who asked if she was still married. The fan had gushed over how beautiful the mother of one is and inquired if she was still married.
“Queen, hope you’re still married because Asa, you’re too beautiful to be single”.
The Nigerian reality star had responded to the follower, telling her that she is single and unavailable.
