Nollywood actress Olamide Oyedeji has once again stirred social media with her fearless and candid confession about single motherhood and relationships.
In a viral clip from a recent appearance on the talktobpodcast, she boldly declared: “I’m a single mother of four and I’m the one using men to do shakara.”

The actress noted that she refuses to be pitied or seen as vulnerable instead, she claims the upper hand, turning attention from men into a tool for her own confidence, lifestyle, and enjoyment while independently raising her four children.
Oyedeji has long been open about her journey. In past interviews, including episodes on her YouTube channel and appearances like those with Biola Adebayo Ent and Talk-to-B, she described becoming a single mother “by force, not by choice.” She has spoken of having multiple baby daddies despite earlier ideals of one partner, emphasized that single motherhood carries no stigma, and urged women to value themselves highly without desperation.
This latest statement flips traditional narratives, rather than men exploiting or abandoning, she positions herself as the empowered one in control.
