‘Skinny Girl In Transit’ set to return in Q1 of this year

Skinny Girl In Transit (SGIT), Ndani TV’s popular YouTube series, will return for a seventh season this year.

In a tweet, Shock Ng revealed that the new season will be released in the first quarter of 2024.

The series’ final episode aired on February 14, 2020.

The new season is expected to pick up where the previous season left off. In May 2023, a teaser showed a glimpse of the naming ceremony.

Fans should expect Abimbola Craig, Ayoola Ayolola, Ngozi Nwosu, Bisola Aiyeola, Ayo Adesanya, Sharon Ooja, Timini Egbuson, and Woli Arole to return as cast members based on the short clip.

The web series, created by Temi Balogun, follows the story of Tiwa (Craig), a plus-sized woman in Lagos.

With 69 episodes so far, the show has taken viewers on her journey as she tries to lose weight, eventually falls in love, marries, and juggles career hurdles alongside family drama.

It was an instant hit, and it helped Craig establish himself as a rising star in Nollywood.

It was also responsible for launching the careers of many stars, including Ooja and Timini, who were previously only known for their work on MTV Shuga.
