Victor Nwaogu, the on-air personality (OAP) better known as Nkubi has reportedly filed a lawsuit against a content creator named Chinonso Favour.
This action comes shortly after Favour shared a photo of Nkubi’s daughter with the caption “Main Labubu.”
For clarification, “Labubu” refers to a quirky, toothy doll originally created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung and produced by the Chinese toy giant Pop Mart International Group.
The doll is inspired by Lung’s “The Monsters Trilogy,” a graphic novel series rooted in Nordic mythology. Labubu dolls feature hinged key rings, allowing users to stylishly attach them to personal items.
Favour’s post quickly attracted attention on Facebook, prompting many Nigerians to criticise her for what they considered an insensitive remark against the actor’s first child.
They urged Nkubi and his family to take action against her, which he reportedly did. Amid the claims that Nkubi and his family were planning to sue her, Favour released two videos apologising to the content creator and his daughter.

In one of the videos, Favour explained that she had seen the post on another page and was unaware of who Nkubi or his daughter were before that.
Despite her apology, many Nigerians continue to drag her over the post.
