Nollywood actress and skincare entrepreneur, Bridget Misaa Adebayo has dropped a direct jab at the parents of Baba Ijesha’s wife, fashion designer and stylist CEO Luminee (Ceoolumineofficial / Abiodun Tokunbo).
Stirring controversy with her no-holds-barred criticism, she knocked parents who allow their daughters to marry or enter relationships with men convicted of serious sexual offences.
In her viral statement, Misaa declared:
“Some parents are mad; for some reasons, Baba Ijesha became a free man and you decided it’s someone like him you’d open your legs for when you know you have a daughter.”
Misaa’s strong comments came in reaction to the shocking announcement by Baba Ijesha and Luminee on Monday, June 15, 2026, that they have welcomed a baby boy named King Kagar Omiyinka. The couple shared joyful maternity photos and expressed gratitude, with Baba Ijesha calling his wife his “strong Jagaban” and describing the child as more than he prayed for.

The news has stirred massive reactions online, with many Nigerians questioning the timing coming just seven months after Baba Ijesha’s release from prison in November 2025.
Several netizens openly asked if the baby is truly his, while others slammed the decision to start a family with a man convicted in 2022 for the sexual assault and indecent treatment of a 14-year-old minor.
