Fatai Adetokunbo, son of the late popular Yoruba Nollywood comic actor Kunle Makinde Adetokunbo known as Dejo Tunfulu, has publicly expressed deep distress over his current struggles.
In a recent video circulating on social media, the young man is seen kneeling and in tears as he says: “I swear to God I am tired. I am tired. I am just using agidi. I am tired. I can’t kill myself. God, please help me.”
This emotional plea follows an earlier post in which Fatai expressed regret for not heeding his father’s advice. Dejo Tunfulu, who died in April 2022 at age 49, had encouraged him to pursue acting.

Fatai noted that he focused on football instead. He is not a professional player but an enthusiastic supporter and advocate for grassroots football, academies, and pro players.
He has said the decision left him without stable shelter and that football “changed” him, though he is no longer competing.
Dejo Tunfulu was a well-known comic figure in Yoruba films, famous for stammering roles, and appeared in titles such as Omo Oran, Yemi My Lover, and others.
