Cardi B, the US rapper has lambasted a reporter who asked her an offensive question outside court on Tuesday.
The rapper known for “Bodak Yellow,” who is currently facing a $24 million civil lawsuit from her former bodyguard who accused her of assault, appeared to have a baby bump as she left the courthouse.
While signing an autograph for a fan, a reporter inquired about the paternity of her child, suggesting Stefon Diggs as the potential father.
In response, Cardi B, visibly upset, threw a pen toward the reporter and demanded to be treated with respect. Her bodyguard quickly intervened, guiding her away from the crowd.
The reporter asked: “Insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time. Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”
She replied: “Stop disrespecting me. “Do not disrespect me.”
“I still love you even though you just threw some stuff at me,” the reporter responded.
She replied: “I don’t care. You’re disrespectful, don’t do that. Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you: respect women.”
