In a recent post on his X page, the “Industry Machine” wrote in Pidgin: “For music industry e go hard to see people wey go carry you along without benefit,” which translates to the difficulty to find someone to help genuinely without expecting anything in return.”

The rapper who rose to fame with his song Declan Rice noted that once an artiste gets even the smallest breakthrough, “they quickly abandon their old street crew under the pretext of needing to ‘focus on themselves.”
