Hey, who are we to decide the definition of love for someone? Who am I to state what is wrong or right? Exactly, I’m in no position to state the meaning of love. Therefore, I can only wish the young man and his international babe all the beautiful things they desire.

Pundits have often described younger people choosing to date or marry older persons as ‘gold diggers’. As a matter of fact, it takes two to tango, hence, for a younger person to be in a relationship or have an affair with a much older person, it simply means they both agreed to it. They agreed to make do with what they have and they have found solace in their respective presences. It’s life, it’s love, and people fall in love for various reasons.

In the movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, the popular quote from the film is, “We accept the love we think we deserve.” From my understanding, people will settle for who they admire, find valuable, and are prepared to build something worthwhile. If the older woman is the available option, then men should be allowed to choose them, since they are not manipulating or threatening their love interest. After all, everyone deserves genuine love and happiness, and if the older woman finds true love and friendship in the arms of the young man, or the old man in the bosom of the young lady, let them do what they desire.
