Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood actress-turned-evangelist, has taken to social media to shower praise on her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, in a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute.
The mother of one via her Instagram page on Sunday, thanked Churchill for making her a mother, describing it as “the most beautiful part of my story”.
Dikeh referred to the businessman as her friend and prayed for God’s blessings upon him.
“Thank you, my Gee, for making me a mother. One of the most beautiful part of my story, and happy mothers day to your amazing mother. God bless you, Big Church,” she wrote.
Dikeh also responded to critics who accused her of overpraising Churchill. She argued that no one understands the depth of her gratitude and that she remains unwavering in her appreciation.
“Doing too much? For the only man who has put a child in me? The world is truly a sick place and I’m grateful I dont let your opinions direct me.
“When e reach your turn don’t thank them. How would you understand the meaning of joy/peace that makes no sense, how would you understand healthy co-parenting, if I don’t show you all,” she wrote.
