Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy has once again demonstrated his generosity, gifting a total of ₦6 million to a woman after noticing her low account balance.
On Thursday, a user on X (formerly Twitter), @TomisinWhyte, initiated a viral challenge urging followers to tag their favorite celebrities to send ₦1 million.
In response, a user identified as Adeyemi Adejoke Abidemi tagged Don Jazzy. The music mogul, moved by the gesture, requested her account details and promptly credited her with ₦1 million.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Adejoke shared the credit alert and expressed her appreciation on the platform.
She wrote, “Jesuuuuuusssssssss, this is huge. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity. Receiving 1 million naira is beyond anything I expected, and I’m truly grateful. Your support means the world to me. God bless you abundantly sir.”
Upon viewing the screenshot of her account balance, Don Jazzy noted that her financial situation was still “not healthy” and decided to top it up with an additional ₦5 million, bringing the total to ₦6 million.
He responded, “Amen ooo. That your akant balance is not healthy. I don add another 5 million. More blessings ma.”
Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian music executive, record producer, singer, songwriter, businessman, and philanthropist. He founded the record label Mavin Records in 2012, as a subsidiary of Mavin Global Holdings, through which he has signed artists including Rema, Ayra Starr, Magixx, Bayanni, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, Lifesize Teddy, DJ Big N, and Boy Spyce.
He co-founded Mo’ Hits Records with D’banj in 2004, and was an in-house producer for Kanye West’s GOOD Music from 2011 to 2013.
