Despite her success, the mother of one, is being real about the harsh realities of life in Nigeria, where inflation and rising costs are taking a toll on everyday people.

In a heartfelt post, she shared her frustrations, showing that even celebrities aren’t shielded from the country’s economic woes.

Tiwa Savage vented her frustrations on Instagram, sharing a relatable video that humorously depicted the struggles of navigating Nigeria’s economy. The video showcased various bank locations, jokingly advising viewers to take out loans while playfully warning them to avoid her inbox.

She added a heartfelt remark, “Because even me sef, the economy don show me sege. I’m a single mother abeg. I dey hustle night and day. May God bless us all.”

Tiwa Savage and Tunji “TeeBillz” Balogun, a music producer and her former manager tied the knot in 2013 in a lavish ceremony that drew attention from fans and fellow celebrities. However, their marriage was marked by challenges, and they officially divorced in 2018.
Their marriage was initially perceived as a fairy tale romance, but it soon became apparent that the couple was facing significant issues. Rumors of troubles in their relationship began circulating as early as 2014. In 2018, Tiwa Savage filed for divorce, citing reasons such as infidelity, drug abuse, financial mismanagement, and emotional abuse.
Despite the tumultuous nature of their relationship, both Tiwa Savage and TeeBillz have expressed regret and apology towards each other, particularly regarding the impact on their son, Jamil.
