Foremost Nigerian movie producer and actress, Omoni Oboli, has admonished content creators, creatives, and cinematographers to keep creating quality content with or without a spotlight.
Speaking at the SheCan Nigeria conference on Friday evening, the renowned cinematographer stated that creators should always prepare for the best regardless of the reception they are garnering from viewers or their prospective audience. She stated that content creators should remain excellent against all odds.
“We are creators because we are created in God’s image,” Oboli said.
He went further to say, “There is pressure everywhere to be in the spotlight, but the truth is it will come eventually. The question is, will you be ready when the spotlight comes on you?”

Who is Omoni Oboli
She is an accomplished actress, scriptwriter, director, and producer, active in the industry since 1996.
Equally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Benin, then trained in digital filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
Oboli started acting in 1996 with films like Bitter Encounter and later gained recognition with key roles in The Figurine (2009) and Anchor Baby (2010), which earned her Best Actress awards at the Harlem International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Movie Awards.
