Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has said that people who claim he is not lyrically talented are only jealous of his success.
Speaking on the Toronto Ada’s Room podcast, the rapper said despite what people say about his rap skills, he has achieved more international recognition than any other rapper in Nigeria.

According to him, some of his colleagues envy him because he can both rap and sing, and his songs always perform well.
He said, “In Nigeria, they say my rap is not good, but I’m the most featured rapper by international artistes. I think it’s envy because I sing my hooks, my songs are hits, and I get more bookings than them.”
Odumodublvck added that the hate mostly comes from people who believe they are better than him but have not achieved as much.
“The envy is deep, especially when they think they are better. But we don’t pay attention to that. We just keep pushing for the fans who believe in us. It’s unfortunate for those on the other side because this thing is not stopping anytime soon,” he said.
He also challenged rappers who believe they are better than him to prove it by selling more records and selling out more shows.
