Rising Nigerian musical talent Fido has taken to social media to deliver a scathing rebuke to his detractors, sparking a significant conversation about the pressures of fame and the lack of communal support within the industry.
Known for his growing influence and distinct sound, Fido did not hold back in a lengthy post aimed at those he believes are actively working to undermine his success.

The artist began his address by challenging the perceived power of his critics, reminding them that they do not hold the keys to his destiny.
“U na no be God,” he asserted, suggesting that many of his vocal opponents lack a significant future or “glory” of their own.
Fido’s commentary touched on a deeper psychological note, accusing haters of using a “useless mindset” to project depression onto others in an attempt to bring them down to their level.

Furthermore, Fido expressed disappointment at the lack of patriotism and brotherhood in his home country. He lamented that many Nigerians, who should naturally support their own “brothers and sisters,” instead seem to hunger for bad news and failure.

Despite the negativity, Fido maintained a defiant, spiritual stance, concluding his message by stating that he will continue to “Dance For Jesus” regardless of opposition. He ended the post with a sharp warning to those blocking their ears to his music, suggesting that their unjustified hatred would only lead to their own frustration.
