Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has faced a wave of backlash after publicly displaying his wife, Tiwi’s underwear at the premiere of Daniel Etim-Effiong’s new psychological thriller, The Herd, held at IMAX Lekki.
The star-studded event saw several top Nollywood celebrities in attendance, but Kunle Remi stole the spotlight for an unusual reason.
The actor appeared on the red carpet holding up what he claimed to be his wife’s panties, revealing that she had “given him a piece of herself” since she couldn’t attend the premiere in person.

Sharing the video online, Kunle captioned it: “Your wife could not be present physically, so she gave you a piece of herself.”
The actor, who tied the knot last year, also posted a clip on Instagram showing how his day began with breakfast, lunch, and what appeared to be his wife’s underwear. The video was captioned: “Randomly remembering how I started my morning.”
The gesture, however, didn’t sit well with many social media users, who accused him of being inappropriate.
One wrote: “Why did we need to see this?”
Another added:“Kunle is not a normal person, so this kind of behaviour comes naturally to him.”
