Gospel minister, Nathaniel Bassey has reacted to the passing of gospel Bolaji Olarewaju, better known as Big B.
eelive.ng reports that the family of the deceased singer on Saturday confirmed his passing in a statement.
The statement read, “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bolaji Olarewaju, affectionately known as “Big B,” a cherished father, husband, brother, and an esteemed figure in both the church community, an ordained Pastor in the RCCG and a giant in the music industry and our community. Bolaji left us on Easter Saturday, 19th April 2025, after a brief illness.”
Reacting to the sad news, Bassey, via his Instagram on Saturday, expressed sadness, noting that the late singer was a good man.
He also prays that the late singer’s family finds the strength to cope during this difficult time.
His post reads: “Not the kind of news I want to hear or share. Big B, this is hard to take in. You were a GOOD MAN. Always suing for Peace. A leader. Rest in ABBA’s embrace. Prayers of comfort and strength for the family and friends. We draw strength from the truth that You are in CHRIST. It is well.”
