A Lagos woman has filed a lawsuit against popular Nigerian TikTok star and content creator Peller, demanding ₦395 million in damages for allegedly filming and posting her without consent during a heated public clash.
The incident occurred at a restaurant where a confrontation erupted between the two.
According to reports, the woman accused Peller of being disruptive during his livestreaming. In response, Peller reportedly recorded the exchange, labelled her negatively in the video, and shared it online, where it quickly went viral and sparked widespread debate.

The plaintiff claims the unauthorised filming and dissemination of the footage violated her privacy rights, caused severe emotional distress, reputational harm, and public humiliation. She is seeking ₦395 million in compensation, along with an order for Peller to retract the video and issue a formal apology.
Peller, known for his energetic TikTok content and collaborations, has, however, acknowledged the lawsuit during a recent livestream.
The TikTok streamer, who is currently on his national tour, stated that he had previously apologised publicly for the incident but expressed surprise at the legal action moving forward. He described the encounter as mutual, claiming the woman initiated harsh remarks, though he maintains he regrets how the situation escalated.
