Since returning a few weeks ago from a short hiatus, there has been rumours about her next move. As a signpost to a new announcement, the singer curiously deleted her entire archive of photos on Instagram leaving just three photos of her in animal print.
Several unconfirmed reports in the media have suggested an end to her relationship with Mavin Records, a label she joined several years ago. In another twist, reports said she has now signed with Lagos-based reputable talent agency, Temple Management Company (TMC) which is home to Big Brother Nigerian (BBN) star, Bisola Aiyeola and Jeff Akoh among others. She was sighted few days ago during a whistle-stop visit to the creative firm.
Eeliveng reached out to insiders at Mavins Records and they confirmed that the singer’ s contract ran out a couple of years back but she has continued under a working relationship with the label. Our source who does not want to be quoted said, “Tiwa and Mavin Records do not have any problem as widely reported. The two brands work under a friendly association which is mutually beneficial to the two parties involved.”
Meanwhile, sources hint that the singer will be announcing a massive international record deal with a global entertainment powerhouse. The identity of the label is still being kept under wraps. However, it was learnt that the deal has been signed, sealed and delivered
