‘To Kill A Monkey’ Star Actor, Bucci Franklin Opens Up About His Acting, Passion

Nollywood actor Bucci Franklin has stated that he acquired his impeccable acting skills from God and that he had chosen theatre arts because he saw himself doing it.

The star actor in the trending movie, ‘To Kill a Monkey’, during a recent Interview with Bella Naija, recounted how his mother wanted him to do law, and not act.

He said: “His sweet mother didn’t want him to do theatre arts, but wanted him to do law”

Bucci stated that his background in acting started in church. Bucci, who played the role of the main character, Oboz Da Boss, in “To Kill A Monkey,” is also behind the scenes and even deeper.

Bucci has also featured in the movie “Rattle snake” where he worked with Ramsey Nouah. Bucci also commended the Northerners and the Yorubas in the movie industry on Netflix, the likes of Iyabo Ojo.

Bucci revealed his plan to tell Nigeria authentic stories, Niger Delta, Igbo stories, South East. Bucci revolution in the Nollywood industry is about stories about women and he wants to be passionate about telling their stories.

Who’s Bucci Franklin?

Bucci Franklin whose real name is Onyebuchi Franklin Odurukwe was born on June 9, 1992.

Bucci Franklin grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the south-south region of Nigeria.

However, Bucci Franklin is from a local government area called Nkwere, it is located in Imo State, in southeastern Nigeria.

He comes from the Igbo ethnic group, one of Nigeria’s major ethnic groups. Bucci Franklin is proud of his region, known for its rich culture and traditions.
