Foremost Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has taken to social media to appreciate her daughter, Yaya, for making her a mother as she celebrates her first official Mother’s Day.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the Nigerian entertainment polymath mentioned that her daughter, Yaya, is the bundle of joy that she has always requested from God.
It would be recalled that Makinwa welcomed her first child in August 2025, almost three months before she turned 41.
Writing on Instagram, Makinwa had this to say, “My very first Mother’s Day. Adunola, today I call you my Sweetness,” she wrote.

She continued, “My first fruit. The one who’s come to pave the way. Ease is what you have brought, you make being your mommy easy.”
The Nigerian media personality went forward to say, “God, thank you for blessing me with this sweet angel. The last slide is us every morning.
“Because of you my baby I’m receiving personalized Mother’s Day messages, what a Joy.
“My Yaya, my gift, my heartbeat, my Reason. I just want to be the best mother ever to you sweet girl.
“My sweet sweet girl, I pray you never lose your smile, I pray you never lose your mum, I pray you never know sadness and I pray you serve God and shine his light in your generation.
